If in cold weather, you feel a draft and a cold wind, it is possible that your door needs some repair. So that the warmth does not go outside, and the drafts disappeared, you must first completely adjust the door, riding it from distortions, and only after that you can compact the door.
Before starting work, take care of the instrument necessary for the door repair. You will need:
plastic or wooden gasket;
plane;
Fighting paper;
metal gasket;
wooden block;
Clothing rails;
hammer;

If the door was incorrectly installed or incorrectly operated the door, then there is a high probability of distortion, and, consequently, a loose fit of the door. If the door hurts on the door box at the top or below, then eliminate the interference with a shirt and paper. In the case of the door seals on the sides, plastic or wooden gaskets are used, which are placed under the base of the loop.
Install the clovice bar. To do this, cut the required size of the bar at an angle of 45 degrees and beat them in the door frame using nails and hammer. Do not forget to make openings for loops and locks.
Next, put the external strips, for this we use rails of the desired size, attaching them with screws. Previously make sure that the door is adjacent quite tightly.
The last step will be the compaction of the door threshold. Typically, doors are made with special grooves that do not allow moisture to penetrate the room. The bar of the desired length is cut off and nailed one to two millimeters above the door edge.
