Building a beautiful and durable fence is not so difficult. For this you will need corrugated board. This is a sheet of steel at least five tenth millimeters of a thickness of PVC, polymers or zinc coating. The wave -like surface (corrugation) gives the sheet stiffness. Polyvinyl chloride or PVC is resistant to mechanical damage, but loses its properties at high temperature. Polymer coating is stronger than galvanized, since polymers are applied on top of zinc.
Corrugated board cannot be called cheap material. For example, prices for corrugated board in Krasnodar vary in the range from 200 to 400 rubles. for sq. meter. But, on the other hand, this is a very durable material.
During the construction of fences, they use corrugated board with the marking “C”. It is followed by a wave height (no more than twenty -one millimeters) and a sheet width (often one thousand one hundred and fifty millimeters).
Calculations. First determine the perimeter of the fence, places for installing the gate and gates, supporting pillars. The flight between the pillars should be no more than three millimeters. The number of pillars is obtained by dividing the perimeter by the span size. Steel pipes of round or square shape are suitable for supporting racks (length up to one meter).
The number of rows for transverse lag depends on the height of the fence. Profit pipes are used for lag.
Count the materials for the gate and gate: profiled sheets, parts of the frame, loops, canopies, handles, locks, closers. Take into account additional materials if the gate will open automatically.
The number of fasteners – rivets for connecting sheets and screws.
The length and number of sheets of corrugated board is determined when the height of the fence, gates and gate is chosen.
Installation. The support pillars are lowered by one third from the height of the fence. Pillars can be covered with brick. When the foundation hardens, the lags are welded to the pillars using electric welding. After the installation of the lags and supporting pillars are covered with a layer of primer to protect against corrosion.
The sheets of corrugated board are attached to the lags using “screws” on metal with a distance of fifty centimeters. Neighboring sheets join overlapping. Scratches on corrugated board can be easily removed using a spray can of appropriate paint.
