Which interior doors are better to buy

  • August 30, 2017

Currently, a huge number of both domestic and imported doors are presented on the market. However, consumers do not cease to ask the question: “Which interior doors are better to buy?”.

Interior doors can be:

swing;

folding;

compartment;

swinging;

stables.

During their manufacture, materials such as:

tree (considered the most common material);

MDF, chipboard, laminate and so on (such structures have an aesthetic look and do not dry out);

plastic (plastic products are best installed only in office and other non -residential premises);

metal (in Russian apartments there are practically no such doors, however, they can look very elegant and elegant);

glass (models of this type can be completely glass, have glass edging or glass filling).

Below are the main characteristics of these products depending on its design features.

About how to make interior arches with our own hands, we read this article.

Swing interior doors

This type of product is the most common. Single -leaf, bivalve and one and a half -ruled swing models are distinguished. If you want to purchase a door to a dwelling, it is best to choose a wood product. Glass swing structures are ideal for office rooms.

The cost of such products depends on whether a glass insert is present in them (such a door will cost more), as well as on the size and type of canvas.

Folding models

Answering the question: “What interior doors are better to put?”, I must say that folding door leafs are more democratic. It is better to put them in the case when your room lacks free space, and your financial capabilities are very limited. The model can have two sash or several.

In the manufacture of such doors, plastic is used. Such a model in any case will look cheap, so it is not recommended to put folding accordions in the living room, they are only suitable for pantries.

Coop doors

Considering options for interior doors, one cannot fail to mention these models. Design type “coupe” (represent one canvas) or part (two canvases). Important: this option has a huge drawback: with strong winds, the product can move from side to side, creating noise.

Coop door can be made of wood (deaf, phylenny or glazed). Their price is practically coincided with the cost of swing models.

To give the room a modern look, select a “compartment” made of matte glass. It passes the light well and attracts attention.

Swing models

If you like an unusual room design, purchase swinging interior structures. They are extended in different directions, like doors in the subway car. However, such models can rarely be found on sale, except in special stores.

Stable interior doors

This is another variety of ordinary swing models. Such doors are two halves, the upper and lower, on which there are locks and loops. Please note that such a variety is well suited for those who have small children at home: with the help of the lower part, you can block his path to any “dangerous” place.

Thus, which interior doors are the best, to solve only you. However, all door products that are installed in the apartment should have one style direction, otherwise the integrity of the interior will be violated.
