Learning to insulate the windows yourself!

  • September 11, 2017

Surely you know the problem of cold cold. This is especially clearly noticeable when the cold weather, coupled with the heating. Not everyone can afford air conditioning, as well as not everyone has double -glazed windows.

In addition, in a country house, in which you rarely visit or in your country it makes no sense to put plastic windows clearly, but you can insulate the old ones quite tolerably. So, let’s figure out how to properly warm the windows in the room.

First you must carefully examine your windows. Surely you will notice cracks, cracks or gaps. It is in them that cold air penetrates, coupled with the wind. Such cracks are required to be tightly sealed with special paper for gliding windows, which can be purchased at any construction store.

. Apply paper to the windows tightly, and if you see that the gap is not seized to the end, you need to do the same again, that is, stick paper in several layers.

If you do not want such radical insulation and there is a matter of paper, you can make it much easier: Pieces of plasticine in size of the cracks wrap in plastic bags and carefully lay them with the cracks. This will allow cold air not to penetrate your room and, accordingly, insulate your home.

It is not at all difficult to do all this with your own hands – you just have to observe the proper accuracy.

The upcoming summer season increases the already huge daily influx of tourists and business visitors to this one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The offered apartment for rent in Kyiv can perfectly inexpensively solve all your needs. It is equipped with everything necessary for living.
