A wooden skirting board is characterized by low cost and is made from a whole bar, but it requires careful care and periodic reproach. In addition, if the wall has irregularities, then it will be very problematic to bend it without damaging at the same time.
Plastic skirting boards, on the contrary, does not require care and bends perfectly. On many models, rubberized edges are installed so that the skirting board is most tightly adjacent to the wall. Manufacturers produce plastic skirting boards of various colors that mimic various materials. However, such a plinth will cost somewhat more expensive than wooden.
