Triplex
Triplex is a special glass, which consists of glued together several glasses covered with a high -strength film or a special laminating liquid. Its main feature is manifested when impact, since the glass does not fly to the fragments. Triplex is also called a non-inflammatory glass in a different way. The material that has such a structure has a number of advantages over the usual single -layer glass. Firstly, the triplex is completely safe, because with a strong blow, the glass particles will remain glued together, do not let the fragments injure a person. Triplex can be both two -layer and multi -layer, that is, consisting of 6 or more layers. The mechanical strength of the latter option is how strong that the glass is able to withstand even a shot from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Secondly, triplex has soundproofing properties, including it prevents the penetration of harmful ultraviolet radiation.
The manufacture of a triplex is a rather complicated and at the same time responsible procedure.
Specialists engaged in the manufacture of triplexes know that every detail is important in this process, since even the smallest non -observance of the technological process lead to a significant decrease in the finished product. Of course, the quality of the raw material itself is important. Triplex can be film.
The film triplex should be understood as the technology of gluing several glasses with a special film – PVB or EVA. Film thickness 0.38-1.52 mm. Such glass is called – PVB triplex or EVA triplex. The film used for the manufacture of glass impacts is different in its properties and technological characteristics. Thanks to the technology of creating a triplex, multi -layer glass can be obtained with increased optical properties.
The flood triplex is characterized in that it can be made arbitrary form. Such features were the reason for the expansion of the range of those spheres where it can be applied. The form of glass blanks is given before gluing is carried out. The blanks can be fixed with the help of special polymer compositions.
