The main criteria for choosing a chandelier

  • November 30, 2017

Lighting is one of the most important elements in any room. Only thanks to well -chosen lighting devices can you protect your eyes and create comfort in the room.

Perfectly selected chandelier is able to instill a complete look of the interior of any room. Choosing a chandelier model, contact manufacturers who have long established themselves in the world market. So, for example, the chandeliers of the American company Fine Art Lamps are able to decorate any interior. However, choosing a chandelier, it is impossible to limit yourself only to its appearance. Without a doubt, the decorative factor does not take the last place among the criteria of choice, but the functionality of the chandelier is still paramount importance. The power of the chandelier can vary depending on the area of your room and the height of the ceilings.

So, it does not require too bright lighting to illuminate the bedroom, so it will be enough to choose a chandelier with a capacity of up to 150 watts. But for the living room or hall, lighting needs to be brighter – choose a chandelier with a capacity of up to 300 watts. For small rooms, such as a bathroom or kitchen, you can limit yourself to a chandelier with a power of up to 120 watts. It is worth clarifying that the power of the chandelier consists of the sum of the capacities of all the bulbs that are connected to it. Also note that not all types of bulbs can approach your chandelier.

Based on the area of your room, decide on the view of the chandelier. They come in two varieties: classic suspended and ceiling. Of course, the classic version will look best, but if you do not have a large space, then in this case a ceiling chandelier is perfect that will not take up much space.
