Ceramzitonic blocks are widely used in construction. They are used both in the construction of new buildings, and in the restoration of dilapidated. Ceramzitthonous blocks are actively used in the construction of low -rise houses, cottages, household buildings, garages. This building material is also used to build partitions. It is often used as a filler of the frame for monolithic reinforced concrete housing construction.

Features of expanded clay concrete blocks:

Low specific gravity. Such blocks weigh almost half as much as silicate and ceramic bricks. Walls from this building material show half the load on the foundation.

Thermal insulation properties. Keramzitthonous block holds heat 2-3 times better than concrete. This allows you to significantly reduce heat loss. Thanks to this property, it is ideal for construction in regions with a cold climate. When erecting the building, there is no need to use special heater, which reduces the construction.

Moisture resistance. Ceramzitonic blocks do not absorb moisture.

Environmental safety. It is made from environmentally friendly materials that do not harm the environment and human health.

The surface is easily processed, which is why before the finishing work is not needed to prepare the surface. Decorative blocks do not require any processing at all.

They are also popular because to buy expanded clay concrete blocks at low prices, to build a strong and durable building from this building material is much cheaper than from the same brick. Typically, the costs in this case are 30-40 % lower than when using brick. The construction of the building occurs in a shorter time, since the installation of blocks is quite simple. Their size plays an important role – they are several times larger than brick. In vapor permeability, this building material is comparable to the tree, so that natural ventilation is carried out in the room. Ceramzitonic blocks are porous, which slightly reduces their frost resistance (the amount of freezing and thawing).

The most popular types of blocks

Full -bodied. Have increased strength, so they are most often used for the construction of supporting walls.

Hollow. The weight of the wall decreases, heat and sound insulation properties are improved. Suitable for one -story buildings, filling out frames, erecting partitions.
