In my cute apartment, the corner of the old house, so little joy and place. And I don’t want to look at a dull gray ceiling. But if you pull a special film with a pattern on it, and then watch French stretch ceilings photos, then on the ceiling you can see a picture of the starry sky, or your favorite dog. And then he will seem wonderful and amazing to you!
Surely, you thought about the efficiency of heating your housing. In the past 10 years, heaters mounted on the floor have gained more and more popularity. The so -called, warm floor is of two types: electric and water. Water is preferable, especially where there is autonomous heating.
There is an opinion – it is better to lay pipes for a warm floor during construction. But even when repairing a home, this operation is not as laborious as it might seem.
The basis for the floor will serve as an existing concrete screed. Thermal insulation should be laid on it. Foam slabs covered with foil insulation will significantly increase the efficiency of the new heating system. Polyethylene film will provide the necessary waterproofing from above.
Now the insulating layer should be poured with concrete, leaving a few centimeters free from it near the walls. The compensator of thermal expansion will be a special tape laid along the perimeter along the wall. Laying a steel grate with elements of mounting for pipes completes the entire preparatory operation.
For installation, it is better to use metal -plastic pipes. Put the pipe and the “snake” and “snail” – it all depends on the conditions and your desire. The number of contours is unlimited: you can connect them to the collector to adjust the heating of each; but remember that 100 m is the maximum length for one contour. Do not forget to fix the pipes to the metal grate. Check the pipes for the lack of damage with water – this is the most important thing!
The end of the work is close. Pouring the pipe with concrete, do not forget about the free space near the wall, if you do not want cracks in the floor. After the screed is completely dried, proceed to the coverage flooring.
