A lot depends on the quality of building and finishing materials, so before buying everything you need, see the information and recommendations on one or another materials. An important role in the repair is played by the alignment of the surfaces of the room, because if this is not done, then all the irregularities, chips, roughness on the ceiling and walls will be visible, and the floor covering will not fit on the uneven floor. Starting the repair, first of all, it is necessary to completely dismantle the old finish in the room, that is, leave the “bare walls” and start aligning the floor surface. For this, as a rule, a concrete screed is used. After its complete drying, put the base for the flooring, and then the floor material itself, it can be a laminate, a massive walnut board or parquet. Before proceeding with the leveling of the walls, it is necessary to replace the wiring, since during such work there is damage to their surfaces, make new sockets and switches more convenient to use. Previously, the walls were placed by plaster and brought to a smooth state with putty, such work took a lot of time, but now everything has been simplified. The walls are sheathed with drywall, which without much effort gives us the desired result, then the walls are painted, or vinyl wallpaper glued. An excellent solution for perfect repair will be a hinged ceiling, which can be a glossy, matte, fabric, but in any case, such a smooth surface cannot be achieved by a single putty.
