Metal siding is characterized by durability, functionality. It allows you to give aesthetics to the appearance of the building and protect it from the harmful effects of environmental factors. A prerequisite for increasing the duration of the operational period of metal siding is compliance with the basic rules for its installation.
All work with siding provides for the presence of a hacksaw on metal, a carpentry hammer, circulation saw, transverse saw and other things. Before installing siding, the surface of the wall is prepared, in particular, the old plaster, drains and protruding structures are removed. After the preparation, make a crate of the facade, for the formation of which it is possible to use boards, river material or metal guides. The distance between them should be 30-40 cm. They are fixed in such a way that the space necessary for the free penetration of the air remains between the siding and the wall.
After installing the crate, using a water level, the starting point is set, which determines the start of the installation of metal siding. The liquid level allows you to apply a horizontal level around the entire perimeter of the building.
Further, according to the level of the applied line using self -tapping screws (nails), a guide bar is attached to the installation of the first siding profile. Fix siding using aluminum or galvanized nails. Subsequent strips are mounted in such a way that a gap of 5-6 mm remains between the edges of the profiles. In the same way, the installation of siding continues to the upper edge of the wall. At the final stage, visors and pediment of the building are finished.
