Mirrors are objects that can be found in almost every house, sometimes in large numbers. They are used not only for decorative, but also purely for practical purposes. Installation of mirrors contributes to the visual expansion of space and a change in its appearance. However, in order for the product to serve for a long time and efficiently, it must be correctly installed and used.
Basic rules
Air circulation between the mirror and the surface on which it hangs is required. It is provided by a distance of at least 5 mm if the height of the product is up to 1000 mm, and 10 mm B for canvases exceeding this dimensional.
If more than one mirror is recorded on the surface, it is worth observing the gap between the faces of at least one millimeter.
In case of moisture on the product in the product, you should wipe it with a clean rag that does not leave the pile. For example, modern microfiber napkins are ideal for this.
It is impossible to get on the verge of corrosion, chemicals, condensate.
The canvas of the reverse side of the mirror should be dry, without evaporation, acids and alkaloids. It is also worth cleaning the installation surface. If we are talking about concrete, cement, primer or putty, they should be painted with oil paint.
A wooden frame is suitable only for rooms with normal humidity and temperature.
If the protective layer of the mirror is safe, it is suitable for use in the bathroom.
The most optimal for use in rooms with high humidity is the product in aluminum frame. In this case, the back is not required.
The mirror at two points is attached using standard accessories.
Compliance with the above tips will make it possible to significantly increase the life of the product.
