This hydroelectric station is located on the Irtysh River and is the largest hydraulic structure in the country. The main part of the work is focused on concreting a shipping gateway, then the installation of the dam equipment will be carried out. Over 500 people are involved in the repair of the facility, and all work is carried out in two shifts. The total number of laid concrete exceeds 8,000 cubic meters, and 150 thousand cubic meters of land have been dumped to strengthen the river bed and erect a dam.
Earthwork was concentrated on the left bank of the Irtysh, where the lower level of the gateway pit is located 10 meters deeper than the bottom of the river. Construction work on the arrangement of the left -bank part of the facility is close to completion. Jumpers are arranged, new roads are laid, dams and outlines of the gateway are formed. The length of the repaired object along with the roads of the upper and lower biephs exceeds 4 km, including the shipbuilding gateway and channels. Particular attention is paid to the arrangement of the spillway dam, on the construction of which more than 100 builders of various specialties are occupied.
In order to protect the construction from the floods, it is strengthened by all jumpers and installation of pumping equipment. The filling of the reservoir is scheduled for 2015. By this time, the phased commissioning of the hydroelectric complex should be fully completed. All work is financed from the federal and regional budgets, and their total value exceeds 8 billion rubles, which indicates the important national economic significance of the facility not only for residents of the Omsk region, but also the regions bordering it.
