Only a car Skoda Octavia is a representative from the Czech Republic in the superior and competitive class “C”, which Europeans love so much. The ergonomics of Skoda Octavia is very good thought out, familiar and does not require special study – in general it does not cause any complaints. Now a little about materials from finishing – the quality is quite high, they are all very pleasant, but still, for example, their quality is slightly worse than Volkswagen. Due to the fact that this is not a sedan, but the liftback – the luggage compartment of the Czech car is very large, in the usual position its volume is 560 liters, but if the rear seats are folded, then outstanding 1420 liters can be obtained! Yes, few representatives of the “golf class” can boast of such significant indicators. By the way, it is worth noting that the trunk of Skoda Octavia is very successfully arranged and almost perfect form, which facilitates the transportation of things.
Despite the spacious and well -thought -out salon, the wealth of equipment of Octavia can not boast. For example, in the basic configuration for 564 thousand rubles there is not even air conditioning, which is available only for a fee of 30 thousand rubles. The “base” boasts only one driver’s pillow, steering wheel amplifier, electric windows front and, perhaps, all! And this is for that kind of money. The most “sophisticated” Skoda will cost 876 thousand, but there are already such amenities as the front and side pillows, ESP, ABS, steering wheel, full-eating, climate control, air-controlle, on-board computer and built-in factory radio tape recorder from Skoda! As for the transmissions, four options are also available here-two “mechanics, 5 or 6 steps and also two“ automatic machines ”-with the 6th or 7th steps. Acceleration to the first hundred and power units varies from 14, 2 and to 8, 8 seconds. As for the economy, it here all the engines show just an excellent result, so the weakest in a mixed cycle consumes 7 liters per 100 km, and the most powerful – 7, 7 liters! The difference, as they say, is practically not noticeable!
