  • October 16, 2017

Before installing water pipes, you will have to decide which of the materials suits you the most.

1. Steel pipes are galvanized and neocyrected. These are quite strong and hard pipes that will last a long time. But there are disadvantages: when installing it, it is necessary to follow the complete tightness of the seams, use the welding machine or manually cut the thread, over time, rust appears.

2. Copper pipes are used all over the world in gas and water supply for heating.

They are solid, semi -hard, soft, soft in a plastic shell. On such pipes, rust does not appear up to 40 years, they are resistant to low temperatures and ultraviolet radiation, inexpensive. Cons: In the case of an error during installation, you will have to cut a whole area, since the structure cannot be disassembled.

3. Metal -plastic pipes are metal pipes on both sides covered with plastic. These pipes are easy enough to install, they are very flexible, over time there are no rust and growths. Their disadvantages: the high price of the connecting parts of the pipeline (fittings), instability to hydraulic impacts, it is necessary to constantly check the tightness of the compounds.

4. Polypropylene pipes are divided into ordinary and foil (designed for water with a temperature of up to 950 s). They will never appear on them of growths or rust, inexpensive, serve up to 50 years. The disadvantages are the same as in copper pipes.

To save on repairs, it is best to read what construction prices work in a particular store. So you can correctly calculate your family budget and bring your dream about a new house or a repaired apartment as close as possible to reality.
