The most common types of parquet

  • March 1, 2018

Parquet is very popular today, despite the centuries -old history and a large number of new products in the construction market. But if earlier everyone knew only one type of this flooring, today it is already produced by several species. Consider the main ones: for the finish of the kitchen, you will certainly need marble granite, you can buy it inexpensively.

Piece parquet is a classic of the genre. What everyone gets used to. It is him that we are used to seeing in houses and apartments back in Soviet times. As a rule, it was laid on a concrete screed using molten bitumen or special parquet glue. After laying, the floor surface was cyclated and treated with special varnish. However, due to the development of technology, he lost his popularity, losing first place in the ranking of models, whose cost and installation are much lower.

The massive parquet board is very reminiscent of the laminate, but unlike it is a whole piece of valuable tree. This type of parquet can be installed both on the screed and on the base of plywood. When laying, parquet glue is used, and the surface does not need the cycle and additional processing. This allows you to significantly save time and money.

Parquet board – the most budget variation of the parquet, which consists of three or two layers, firmly glued together wood. The lower layers are made of cheap wood, and the upper – from the road. This significantly reduces its price, and the appearance does not cast anything from the more expensive.
