The use of reinforced concrete floor slabs in modern cottage construction.

  • June 26, 2017

Cottage construction often uses floor slabs made of reinforced concrete. This trend is very common for certain reasons, which will be discussed later.

In the construction of suburban cottages, more and more often began to use modern reinforced concrete slabs. Their main advantage is durability. When compared with wooden analogues, then their service life is much longer. It is also important that concrete does not deteriorate due to dampness and does not even require the slightest care throughout the entire service life. Floors can serve as a support when it is planned to build several floors in the cottage. Support walls, indoor partitions, all the equipment of the room and even compact fireplaces and stoves will not become a problem. And yet, it is concrete that can become the basis for any type of flooring.

Previously, there was a problem associated with a large weight of the material, which caused the need to equip a strong foundation. Now the issue is resolved with ease. For construction, it will be enough just to buy floor slabs lightweight PNOs. They, preserving the properties of their heavy analogues, have a reduced weight. They cope with their functional purpose. For cottage construction, this option can be called almost perfect.

To arrange structures of structures, factory -type slabs are often used. They can have a thickness that varies from 16 centimeters to 22 centimeters. In this case, the length can reach about 6 meters. There is an option for the production of plates on your own. But immediately it is worth noting the complexity of such a solution. This option will be rational only in a situation where the construction of the cottage has a non -standard structure, including rounded corners and the most diverse elements of the facade.

If you order hollow plates of PC, then you can get impeccable soundproofing and soundproofing parameters. The permissible load can be from 800 kilograms to 1250 per square meter, which is quite enough for the operational features of cottages. As for the size, despite the existing standards, modern enterprises offer the production of products of the most diverse configuration. Under the features of each project, the corresponding overlap can be made. And in conclusion – this is the speed of installing the plates. It is much faster than the one that is characteristic of all other materials used for these purposes. This argument allows you to put the object into operation much faster.
